I used MindMeister as an online mind mapping tool.
You can also do this with pen and paper – which is how I created the first draft. I personally find screen recording much easier than pen and paper recording. Plus, you wouldn’t want to read my handwriting 🙂
Mindmapping is a great way to start the conversation around potential risks.
For large and corporate projects – I use a spreadsheet or spreadsheet-style tools to create my risk registers. That is a personal preference.
I also find that spreadsheets work better with any corporate project management systems my clients use.
