Change is a journey.
It’s too easy to fixate on the destination.
It’s too easy to fixate on milestones and checkpoints.
Hit a milestone. Look at the next milestone.
Rinse. Repeat.
Our brains like certainty and control.
Having a clear destination and clear milestones provides that.
But the destination isn’t the end.

The graphic shown here is a circle, but I believe the Hero’s Journey is more of a spiral.
We come out of the journey changed and the journey continues, even as we end a previous journey.
My question to you is…what is in your pack?
We need the right “equipment” to navigate the change journey successfully.
As we journey, we encounter the unexpected “outs” of Denial (refusing the Call to Adventure), Disappointment (dealing with the challenges of the journey), and Despair (the abyss where we are either reborn or retreat).
Do you have the right equipment in your pack?
We live in an environment that can be overwhelming and can tax us to our core. With the right equipment, we can successfully navigate the changes we wish to make in our lives.
I am holding a live webinar that will help you put the right “equipment” in your pack and navigate the challenges of Denial, Disappointment, and Despair in your change journey.
In this webinar, we will cover:
- The path all change attempts follow
- The 3 places where change derails and how to navigate those hazards
- How to set yourself up for long-term success
